‘Migration Crisis Has Made America More Vulnerable to Terrorist Infiltration’: Todd Bensman

A June 28 report by the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General exposed how overwhelm at the border led to the release of a suspected terrorist. Inter-agency communications broke down because in some cases, agents simply didn’t have time to respond to emails fast enough. The suspect was apprehended again two weeks after his release. NTD spoke with Todd Bensman, senior national security fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies, for his analysis of the failings at the border.
