Minister: Border Funds’ Delay ‘Not Political’

A French minister over the weekend said he’s seen “not one euro” in payments from the UK. Home Secretary Priti Patel promised over 50 million pounds (around $68 million) to her counterpart in July to help France stop migrants from trying to cross the English Channel. On Monday, a Home Office minister said the delay in payment was the result of an “administrative process” and “not political.”
