The “Missouri Miracle” is perhaps a divine intervention, an odd coincidence that many seem to be missing the details about, or an incident that will simply remain a mystery for years to come.Much of it is still a mystery. A teenager with a beautiful smile. 19-year-old Katie

The story is true. A 19-year-old teenager, Katie Lentd, was in a car accident and found herself trapped in her demolished car. Hit by a driver who was under the influence of alcohol, first responders tried their best to get her out as quickly as possible. Richard Adair, Sheriff’s Deputy, says he will never forget when the Fire Chief in despair, looked at him and told him that he was out of options to free her. The tools weren’t enough. That was after an hour of trying.

What happened next is at the very heart of this story. A mysterious man appeared out of nowhere and asks if he can say a prayer and anoint the young girl. That man is credited with saving her life, but he is absent from all of the 70 photos taken of the scene.
