Miss USA Allowed to Reject Transgender Applicants

The Miss USA beauty pageant can now reject transgender applicants because a judge ruled the organization can’t be forced to accept applicants who aren’t biologically female. Miss USA has a mission to promote natural-born females, and the judge said he views it as an association that cannot, under the Constitution, be required to allow the plaintiff to participate in what the defendant says is a contradiction of that message.
