The officer pulled the car over and took Rodriguez into custody without incident. Frisina was detained, and her family was told she was located, the sheriff’s office said.
Frisina’s parents on Sunday reported the teen missing, saying she was last seen at her home on Saturday night, officials said. Her phone was left behind, authorities told ABC. In a report, police said that her cellphone had been cleared of its data, CBS reported.

Rodriguez and Frisina were seen on surveillance footage in Georgia on Sunday before they were seen at a pawn shop in North Carolina, the sheriff’s office said.
Police said in the report they found a text message between the coach and Frisina before the two left that indicated that there “may be a relationship,” CBS reported.
