The Rangers won Game 1 in Houston last night.
This postseason has been especially unpredictable—out of the four teams left, only one won their division.
This puts the pressure on Houston to win Game 2, because you never want to fall behind 0-2, whether you’re at home or not. But also because Max Scherzer awaits them in Game 3.
Mr. Scherzer’s return could set up something people would like to see—him versus Verlander in a Game 7. Two future hall-of-famers—but that’s if the Rangers hold him back a bit since he’s returning from injury.
