A mother and her four kids died in a two-vehicle crash in Salem, Oregon, according to KGW.
Oregon State Police said the crash took place at 4:30 p.m. at the corner of Highway 99E and Nevada Street NE—about a mile north of Salem, according to the report.

Lisette Medrano-Perez, 25, and her four children, who are aged 8, 6, 4, and 2 were pronounced dead at the scene, KGW reported.
A Landrover was driven by Favian R. Garcia, 27, from Gervais, collided with a southbound Buick Century, driven by Medrano-Perez and her children, according to the preliminary investigation.
They crashed head-on while the two cars were going across a corner.
Police are now investigating the scene.
Garcia suffered minor injuries.
