On Wednesday, Montana House Republicans consider disciplinary action against Democrat transgender legislator Zooey Zephyr, including possible expulsion, over floor debate comments that Republicans would have “blood on your hands” if they denied transgender medical procedures to minors.
The majority of the state House has already denied Zephyr the chance to address the chamber for three days over the comments, pending an apology.
