A mother and daughter were reported missing in New York City on June 3, police said in an alert sent out early Tuesday.

Tiffany Hatch, 35, and her daughter Joelle, 7, were last seen on May 30 at approximately 8:30 p.m., according to a missing person alert obtained by CBS.

The mother and daughter were leaving their home in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of the Brooklyn borough, popularly known as Bed-Stuy, near Saratoga Park, when they were last seen.

“There’s no history of disappearances and no difficult divorce or custody battle; Tiffany Hatch and her daughter Joelle are just gone, police say,” reported NBC.

“Police released no information on the father; it wasn’t clear if the girl and her mother lived alone. It also wasn’t clear who reported them missing.”

Tiffany Hatch was described as standing 5’7″, weighing 17 pounds, with brown eyes, and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a jacket with a New York Giants logo on it over a black dress and black flip-flops.

Joelle was described as standing 4’5″, weighing 65 pounds, with blonde hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple jacket, tan pants, and black boots.
