Four family members were found dead in a home on Monday, April 22, in Fort Worth, Texas, police said.
The bodies are of two children and two adults, all dead from apparent gunshot wounds, according to police.
On Monday, police responded to a 911 call on the block of Speckle Drive in North Fort Worth, Texas.
While police believe the four dead to be family members, they have not officially released any ages or identities.
UPDATE: Police say victims were shot. Adult man and woman, boy and girl. Names still not released.

However, neighbors told local reporters that a young family lived there, including a boy and a girl both under the ages of 5.
“It’s just shaken us up as community. We’re all just in shock,” neighbor Claudia Robles told CBS 11. “My initial thought was what in the world is going on?”
While police haven’t labeled the deaths as a murder-suicide, they have said they are not looking for any persons of interest or suspects as they believe it to be an isolated incident.

Fort Worth Police spokesman Buddy Calzada told CBS 11, “The person that called 911, we’re actually speaking to that person right now. They haven’t left the scene, they’re actually being cooperative with our detective right now, so nobody would be outstanding at this point.”
Despite the four dead, police said there were no reports of any gunshots heard on Monday or the night before.
“I didn’t even know them, but I’m very upset about this,” neighbor Jo Ann Werner told NBC 5. “It’s just not right. It’s a tragedy for our community.”
Other neighbors told NBC 5 that they often saw the children playing outside the house. They also couldn’t recall anything unusual happening lately.
One neighbor even recalled seeing the family there the day before, on Easter.
“It’s really tragic,” Larry Kirkendoll told NBC 5. “They were just out there in the driveway just talking and having a good time.”
Robles also spoke with NBC 5 and said, “It’s sad. It’s sad. Because I don’t think any situation that we, as adults, go through, our kids shouldn’t have to pay for that. So, it’s sad.”
Family in Shock
As for family members, they are in shock and don’t understand what happened.
“We don’t have a clue,” a family member told NBC 5 about a possible motive. “They were a loving family.”
According to the family member, a mother had gone to the house on Monday to find her sister, husband, and two children all dead. She told NBC 5 that the sister had been watching her two children—a 5-year-old girl and almost 2-year-old boy—and the father was supposed to be at work.

The mother had no clue her husband even had a gun in the house, she added. He had just changed jobs recently she said, working in medical sales.
While the investigation is still ongoing, a law enforcement source told NBC 5 that preliminary investigations seem to suggest that the husband killed the other three and then himself.
“When something like this happens, it’s extremely tragic,” Calzada told Fox News. “So we’re very, very sad for this neighborhood and very, very sad for the family that’s involved.”
“As a parent, you worry. You get saddened by that type of news,” Robles told Fox News. “It’s just sad, especially when you see a family that’s out there just the day before.”
