MPs Appalled British Supply Chains May Be Using China’s Forced Labor

UK Members of Parliament are appalled that British companies still cannot guarantee that their supply chains are free from forced labor in China. The Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee says failures in the UK government contributed to the problem. They also conclude that a lack of transparency in the supply chain makes resolution a challenge. The committee’s report proposes to amend and strengthen the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
