MPs Propose ‘Squid Game’ Amendment

On Tuesday, members of Parliament are set to debate legislation that aims to curb forced organ harvesting in China. It’s dubbed the “Squid Game” amendment because of the Netflix show’s gruesome organ harvesting scene in which people are kept alive so their organs can be sold. Labour MP Marie Rimmer, who tabled the amendment, told NTD that it’s the greatest crime against humanity in the 21st century, and the UK should step up to stop it.
