A day after Michigan State University told suspended football coach Mel Tucker about their intent to fire him—after sexual harassment allegations emerged in media reports last week—Tucker responded Tuesday saying “other motives are at play”.
By firing Mr. Tucker, the university would avoid paying the $79 million dollars left on his contract.
