MTV series “Jersey Shore” star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has been tased and arrested by police for allegedly punching and slapping, and then chasing his girlfriend Jen Harley with a knife.

Police received several 911 calls reporting that Harley was in need of help.

Ortiz-Magro was later booked for kidnapping and police also told TMZ that he was under the effects of cocaine.

Ortiz-Magro and Harley have been getting together and separating because of various incidents involving violence, this time it was at an Airbnb in Los Angeles, according to law enforcement sources told TMZ.

The incident occurred Friday at around 2:30 a.m., when the heated argument escalated rapidly. Ortiz-Magro allegedly slapped and punched Harley, not for the first time, who yelled for help as she ran out of the house.

Law enforcement sources told the outlet that Ortiz-Magro chased Harley with a knife in his hand while also holding their 18-month-old daughter, Ariana, shouting at Harley to go back to the house.

According to Fox 11, Harley told the police who arrived at the scene that the 33-year-old reality star had a knife and was in the house with her baby.

TMZ reported that the Jersey Shore cast member dropped the knife and locked himself back in the Hollywood Hills home.

Police ordered Ortiz-Magro to come out of the home, but he didn’t cooperate. The police thought that the little girl could be in danger so they broke in to rescue the child from him. Fox 11 reported that Ortiz-Magro was being aggressive with the police so they had to use a taser to neutralize him.

“Officers had to use a taser, so a minor use of force occurred,” police told Radar Online.

Harley and the baby were checked by paramedics at the scene, and didn’t have major injuries, however, Harley reportedly had marks on her face.

Harley was arrested in May for an outstanding warrant related to a New Year’s Eve incident with Ortiz Magro. Radar reported that Ortiz-Magro filed a domestic battery report on her because she allegedly threw an ashtray at him. She accused him of smashing her TV, picture frames, and a vase in her home.

Just 12 hours before the violent incident on Friday morning, the couple was seen holding hands and declaring that they were back together again.

Ortiz-Magro told E! News recently that what MTV portrayed of them is not necessarily the true situation.

“Me and Jen have a strong love for each other,” he told the outlet. “What the show portrays and what we really have for each other are two completely different things. They ask why do we stay with each other? And it’s because we know what we have is real. And at the end of the day, people don’t see what we have, they see what MTV wants you guys to see.”
