Multiple Tornadoes Spotted in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana

Multiple tornadoes were spotted in different areas of Natchitoches Parish in northern Louisiana on Nov. 5.

The Sheriff’s office took to Twitter to inform people about the weather event, and tweets, “Multiple Tornados Touch Down in Natchitoches Parish” on the same day. They also posted multiple videos of the tornadoes on to their Facebook page.

The videos also noted damages from the tornadoes in Plantation Point and Marthaville.

A motorist who was in the area captured the tornadoes traveling near the Louisiana highway between the towns of Marthaville and Campti.

The National Weather Services issued a tornado watch for multiple parishes in Louisiana, along with parts of Texas and Arkansas. According to meteorologists, one of the tornadoes that was traveling at a speed of 30 mph east through Natchitoches.
