Murder on Demand: Organ Harvesting Exposed on Human Rights Day in The Hague

On International Human Rights Day, Dec. 10, survivors, experts, politicians, and human rights defenders will attend a conference in the Hague to discuss state-organized organ harvesting from living people in China.

Together, they will shed light on the serious human rights violations being committed with state involvement in the country ruled by the Chinese Communist Party.

Global Human Rights Defence, a human rights group in Europe, and Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting, an organization that raises awareness about unethical organ harvesting practices, will present a comprehensive report on the practice of forced organ harvesting in China at 10:30 a.m. ET on Dec. 10 in Den Haag, Holland.

Key speakers:

  • Moderator: Dhir H. van Bommel, former parliament member and former member of the Socialist Party (SP).
  • Dr. Andreas Weber, deputy director in Europe of Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting.
  • A victim and survivor of forced organ harvesting.
  • Anthonie Holslag, Dutch anthropologist and author specializing in the study of genocide, particularly the Armenian Genocide.
  • Kayan Wong, spokesperson for the Falun Gong community in the Netherlands.

Additional attendees include representatives from the Dutch Foreign Ministry, members of the press, and nongovernmental organizations.
