Elon Musk is making headlines again, but this time over a pro-life ad campaign featuring one of his quotes on a New York Times Square billboard.

The billboards feature Mr. Musk’s social media post from September: “Having children is saving the world.”

Under the billboard is a large pro-life video advert, both initiated by the pro-life diaper company EveryLife.

The video opposes what the company calls “population control ideologies.”

After learning of the use of his quote, Mr. Musk endorsed how it has been used.

“I had nothing to do with this billboard, but I definitely endorse the message!” he said on his platform X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday.

‘Make More Babies’ Campaign

The billboard and video are part of the “Make More Babies” campaign, which began on that same day and comes ahead of Saturday’s March for Life in Washington, D.C.

“Our ‘Make More Babies‘ campaign isn’t just about promoting our brand — it’s a powerful affirmation of our core conviction that every child is a gift, deserving love, protection, and support, adding that “no other diaper company will speak out and say the same,” according to EveryLife co-founder and president Sarah Gabel Seifert in a statement to Fox News.

“There’s a profound need for more children in the world, and EveryLife is here to take a bold stance that we disagree with population control ideologies,” Ms. Gabel Seifert said.

EveryLife is affiliated with the pro-life group Live Action, and it will take part in the upcoming annual March for Life.

First launched in early 1974, March for Life was part of efforts to initially lobby Congressional leadership to find a legislative solution to the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide.

“Soon after realizing congressional protection of the unborn was not on the horizon, [organizer] Nellie Gray decided to hold a March for Life every year until Roe v. Wade is overturned,” says March for Life on its website.

Roe v. Wade was finally overturned in 2022. Abortion access is now left up for individual states to decide upon.

A Pro-Life Company

EveryLife, which sells diapers and wipes, was launched in July 2023 as a direct-to-consumer baby brand.

The company offers a 25 percent discount on its products to pro-life organizations and nonprofits, as per its website.

“We unapologetically choose to celebrate life. Because every child is a gift from above that deserves to be loved, protected, and celebrated — every single day. And our community will be just that: men and women who are joyful about raising children, celebrating life, and championing parenthood,” according to the company’s mission statement.

It goes along with the values the company stands for, which include “stand with integrity, “champion parenthood” and “rooted in faith.”
