Rafael Nadal advanced to the French Open finals Friday after his opponent Alexander Zverev was forced to withdraw with a leg injury, during the second set of their semifinals match. Zverev fell to the ground during a rally, screaming in pain and grabbing his ankle. He eventually exited the court in a wheelchair and returned minutes later in crutches to officially withdraw.
