Nancy Kerrigan, the former American figure skater, was asked about whether she has seen “I, Tonya,” which paints a favorable picture of Tonya Harding.

Harding, prior to the 1994 Olympics, and her husband hatched a plot to hit Kerrigan in the kneecap. For the attack, Harding got three years of probation and her ex-husband Jeff Gillooly received two years in prison.

“I, Tonya” stars Margot Robbie as Harding.

“I really have nothing to say about it. I haven’t seen anything,” Kerrigan told The Boston Globe. “I haven’t watched anything.”

“I was at the national [figure skating] championships this week so I didn’t watch the Golden Globes,” Kerrigan added. “I haven’t seen the movie. I’m just busy living my life.”

After the 1994 Olympics, Kerrigan got married, had a family, and became one of the most recognizable figure skaters. She competed on “Dancing with the Stars” last year.

“It’s not really part of my life,” she said of the film and attack. “As you say, I was the victim,” she said. “Like, that’s my role in this whole thing. That’s it.”

Meanwhile, former Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir slammed the film.

“I am so over the glamorization of a villain simply because she was born on the ‘wrong side of the tracks.’ While her upbringing may have been tragic, athletes come from all walks of life and succeed based on merit, not assault. I won’t applaud her and I stand for Nancy,” he tweeted.

He elaborated further to TMZ: “She did a horrible, horrible thing, So she’s a pariah in our sport, and she shouldn’t be forgiven for basically, possibly having the opportunity of ruining somebody’s life.”

Harding’s mother also didn’t agree with the movie’s portrayal.

“She’s lied so much she doesn’t know what isn’t a lie anymore,” LaVona “Sandy” Golden told ABC News.

“I didn’t abuse any of my children,” Golden added. “Spanked? Yes, [I] spanked. Absolutely, positively you [have] got to show them right from wrong.”

Harding also claimed her mother threw a steak knife at her, which hit her arm. Golden responded to that.

“Why would I throw a steak knife at anybody?” she asked, denying the allegations.

Golden said that when she was raising her kids in Portland, Oregon, she worked several jobs to put food on the table.
