NASA Names Hangar After Astronaut John Young

The late John Young was NASA’s longest-serving astronaut and the ninth person to walk on the Moon as commander of Apollo 16. NASA honored the accomplished astronaut on Tuesday by naming the Ellington Field hangar in Houston after him.
