Natalie Imbruglia is back on tour in a smaller, more acoustic setting

Natalie Imbruglia is on the road again, and this time she is getting ready to take on Europe. She is going for smaller venues where audiences will get more intimate, acoustic sets.

Imbruglia spoke about the idea behind the new tour.

“Any opportunity to get on the road and tour; it’s my favourite thing to do. I was just really excited to have the opportunity to do a more intimate show for the fans. This tour is going to be songs that I don’t normally do when I tour, and having the opportunity to do a more stripped back version is great for the fans. So, that was the motivation for this one. Something a bit different ”

She is also preparing to put out a new album that should be complete by next year.

Imbruglia’s last album, “Male,” was a collection of songs originally sung by male artists. Imbruglia enjoyed the juxtaposition of such a project.

Imbruglia rose to fame in 1997 with “Torn.” Before “Torn” brought her pop star fame, she was an actress on the Australian soap opera “Neighbours.”
