National Guard to Assist With Election Cybersecurity: Reports

Former DOD cybersecurity director John Mills told NTD that many U.S. law enforcement intelligence personnel don’t understand the information technology that’s used in elections. Mills questioned whether the National Guard’s cybersecurity units have adequate training to ensure secure elections, in response to a report from Politico that said the Guard would be deployed in 14 states during the 2022 midterms for this purpose.
