A U.S. Navy strike group is moving across the Pacific from Singapore toward the Korean peninsula.

A U.S. official announced Saturday, April 8, that the strike force includes the carrier USS Carl Vinson.

Many nations are concerned about North Korea’s advancing weapons programs.

North Korea has launched several missiles into the Sea of Japan recently.

North Korea is working on reliable Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles and is believed to have about a dozen nuclear warheads.

The show of force will hopefully enhance any negotiations which might take place with the rogue regime.
