Netherlands Breaking Ties With China’s ‘Sister Cities’

Certain Western nations are withdrawing from China.

Over the last two years, at least eight Dutch cities and two provinces have split from their Chinese sister cities.

The term ‘sister cities’ defines a long-term partnership between two cities in two different countries mainly focused on trade and culture exchange.

The Netherlands isn’t the only nation skeptical of these strategic partnerships with China.
