New Bill Seeks to Strip China’s ‘Most Favored Nation’ Status

Defective personal protective equipment and difficulty in getting supplies out of China have made many in the U.S. rethink supply chains. Senator Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) is introducing a new bill this week to strip China of its permanent ‘most favored nation’ status. He says the special trade status is what caused the ‘loss of American manufacturing jobs’ to China.
