New Bipartisan Bill Would Take Power From Unelected Federal Agency Officials

A group of bipartisan House lawmakers introduced the “Ensuring Accountability in Agency Rulemaking Act.” They say that federal officials belonging to government agencies shouldn’t be able to impose billions of dollars of regulatory costs on Americans every year, because those agency officials are not elected by the people.
