Chinese scientists published data alleging COVID-19 did come from animals and not from a lab.

Scientists at the Chinese CDC uploaded new data to the world’s biggest public virus database. The data appears to show genetic material in which raccoon dog DNA was co-mingled with the virus. The samples were allegedly collected at the Wuhan seafood market in early 2020. The director of the World Health Organization Friday criticized China. He said the data should have been released three years ago. He also said this new data doesn’t explain exactly how the pandemic started. Experts have not verified the analysis made by Chinese scientists.
