New York City Named Best City in the World by Time Out, as Professor Notes City’s ‘Diversity of Diversities’

Media group Time Out has named New York City as the best city in the world in its 2024 annual ranking. NTD spoke to distinguished professor of civil engineering emeritus at the City College of New York, Robert Paaswell, who cited what he called the Big Apple’s “diversity of diversities” in people, food, art, music, neighborhoods, and employment as one of its defining features.
