The 2nd Annual NYC Summer Ice Cream Blizzard is back, on the National Ice Cream Day, gathering the best artisanal ice cream makers.

 

 

Here’s one of the most popular desserts in Japan, with a new look!

“We took a 100-year old dessert that’s been really popular in Japan. And we modernized it. We made a little mouth piece, so we can put ice cream inside. And on top of the ice cream we put topping, such as mochi, whiffer. Put it all together,” said Tom Yang, partner of Taiyaki NYC.

 

Some might have a simple appearance, but it is certified organic GMO-free

 

You can get a watermelon mix with mint popsicle or an ice cream sandwich, and more.

“We are so excited. My daughter’s trying a watermelon popsicle. And we had some of the ice cream over here, Blue Marble. It’s very good,” said tourists Aviva.

The artisanal ice cream certainly gives people a variety of creative ways to enjoy a cool moment in summer.

 

Grand Bazaar NYC, the Sunday market on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, is all year-round. Apart from fun edibles, you can also find local designers and their one-of-a-kind art works.
