A New York Giants fan from Rhode Island, upset that the New England Patriots signed Antonio Brown, one of the top-performing wide receivers in the league, allegedly threatened to shoot “random people” at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
Tobias Gray, 44, appeared in Rhode Island court on Sep. 9 to face fugitive from justice and domestic assault charges. He was wearing a New York Giants jersey and was ordered to be transferred to Massachusetts, where he’s wanted by police for “making terroristic threats,” reported The Associated Press.
Gray’s Facebook page apparently shows him pointing a gun.

“I don’t ever really post too many things so you know this is real since the Patriots signed Antonio Brown I’m going to pull a white boys school shooting at Foxboro you might as well just hand them the ring right now I’m if I ever get my hands on a gun which I don’t have one yet but I’m looking I will go shoot up random people at Foxboro,” stated Gray’s post, which was later taken down.
Gray’s attorney, Stefanie DiMaio Larivee, says that he is harmless.
“A lot of people have a lot of emotional reaction outside of New England, especially to Antonio Brown coming on to the Patriots,” Larivee told Boston 25 News.
“Whatever my client allegedly posted or not, it was never meant as a serious threat,” DiMaio-Larivee said.
According to police report, Tobias Gray of East Providence is the one who wrote the threatening Facebook post. Someone Gray knows told him to take post down. Police got wind of the post from someone who is friends with Gray on FB and was alarmed by it.

Gray allegedly threatened the East Providence police that picked him up for their warrant.
“I will give your kid short-term memory loss,” Gray allegedly said to the police, reported the Boston Herald. “You better watch your back.”
Officers said that during the arrest on Sunday, he became “very hostile, aggressive and angry.”
He is accused of telling an officer, “I’m going to make it my life mission to find you and your kid. You’re going to wish you never met me.”
Boston 25 spoke to a neighbor who said Gray is not a threat.
“He’s harmless,” said Clifton Price. “If you ask me, he is harmless, and I’ve […] been here for 12 years now.”
On Monday, Foxboro Police released a statement related to Gray’s threats that read, “In general Chief (William) Baker says the department will respond vigorously and in close collaboration with our local, state and federal partners to take appropriate action as the law allows.”
