A body-cam video shows a New York police officer saving a chicken from a shed that was on fire on Nov. 24.

The New York police officer responded to the shed fire in Ossining.

The officer, who was wearing a body-camera, rushed into the scene of the fire and asked if there were any propane tanks where the fire was at, presumably at the owner.

The video showed the officer maneuvering the propane tanks out of the way to prevent further damage to the already-lit shed.

The video then showed footage of a chicken, as the officer attempted to make a grab for the animal within the flamed shed.

The chicken was successfully moved out of harm’s way.

As the officer runs outside with the chicken in his hands, he was heard yelling to the owner of the house, “I’ve got your chicken.”
