A university student group in New York holds a screening and panel discussion at 5:00 p.m. ET on Jan. 26 featuring Yaxue, the founder of China Change, and Chen Guangcheng, the “Barefoot lawyer,” to mark the 20 years of struggle the Chinese human rights lawyer experienced.
Students also call on Chinese authorities to free all the lawyers detained in the 709 Crackdown on Chinese human rights lawyers.
