Newborns in China Drop 15 Percent in 2020: Official Data

Chinese couples are becoming more reluctant to have children due to the rising cost of health care, education, and housing, as well as social trends in family building, based on data from China’s Ministry of Public Security. It says the number of newborns in the country dropped 15 percent last year from the year before.
