NHS 2-Year Wait Backlog Shrinks to Below 200

The backlog of people waiting more than two years for a routine operation has shrunk from over 22,000 at the start of the year to fewer than 200. The government says it’s a testament to the hard work of NHS staff, and that the next milestone is to eliminate 18-month waits by April next year.
