The NHS is warning that strikes are having an impact on people seeking urgent or emergency care. They say the joint walkout of consultants and junior doctors poses a significant risk to patients. The British Medical Association (BMA) trade union, however, is blaming hospitals for failing to reschedule appointments in the lead-up to the walkouts. NTD’s Malcolm Hudson has more.
