The 2024 presidential campaign has been dominated by tough-on-China rhetoric.
During a New Hampshire rally on Wednesday, presidential candidate Nikki Haley said that the United States should shift its perspective on China: from viewing it as a “competitor” to an “enemy.”
Drawing from her experience as the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Ms. Haley said China “always saw us as an enemy,” and that’s why the United States should do the same.
