The North Carolina Supreme Court recently knocked down a voter ID law, ruling it as discriminatory. It said it likely suppresses votes from African Americans who lack the needed identity cards. The court also ordered a state senate map to be re-drawn because of partisan gerrymandering. Dallas Woodhouse, former executive director of the North Carolina Republican Party shares his take.
