A controversial bill going through Parliament proposes to offer conditional amnesty to the perpetrators of deaths and serious injuries during the conflict in Northern Ireland known as the Troubles. The Troubles lasted almost 30 years from the late 1960s to 1998. The bill seeks an alternative path of justice for victims, but it is opposed by every political party in Northern Ireland, as well as victim groups, who say it will let criminals go free. NTD spoke to Sammy Wilson, a Northern Irish MP from the Democratic Unionist Party.
