NRA Loses Suit Over Gun Store Closure in NY

A federal appeals court ruled against the National Rifle Association (NRA) on Tuesday in a lawsuit the group filed. The NRA sued over then-New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s executive order of March 2020. It included gun stores among the “non-essential businesses” that had to shut down under the state’s pandemic restrictions. The NRA claimed this violated the Second Amendment.
