An independent review of the National School Boards Association has revealed that it considered asking the White House to deploy the Army National Guard to monitor school board meetings. In the final letter sent to President Joe Biden in September 2021, the NSBA requested that parents’ actions be examined under the Patriot Act as “domestic terrorists.” Inflation hasn’t slowed, but when asked about the possibility of a recession, Biden said a recession is not inevitable.
