Hiring has slowed down in the states reporting more virus cases. Tom Ozimek has the details.

There’s debate in congress over whether businesses should be protected from COVID-19 lawsuits. We talk to Emel Akan about the negotiations.

The U.S. government makes a deal with two pharmaceutical companies for up to 600 million doses of a potential vaccine. The companies say we could have a vaccine by the end of the year.

And home sales have made a record jump. Super low mortgage rates and an increase in people working from home are counted as some of the reasons.
