2021 Nobel peace prize co-winner Dmitry Muratov, pledged to donate $500,000 of his prize money to charities. Muratov put the prize up for auction with proceeds going to Ukrainian children displaced by war. It sold for $103.5 million dollars, shattering the record for any Nobel medal auctioned off before.
