Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Washington on Dec. 12, meeting with President Joe Biden and lawmakers on Capitol Hill. He made another plea for more U.S. aid, but the funding package is still stalled in Congress.

Speaker Mike Johnson said the House plans to formalize President Biden’s impeachment inquiry this week. He said this step is important to back up House Republicans’ subpoenas in court.
