President Joe Biden and the top four congressional lawmakers met on Tuesday. Congress has until Friday, March 1, to approve the first four appropriations bills to avoid a partial government shutdown.

Michigan voters headed to polls for the Democratic and Republican primaries. People voting in the Republican primary say they care about the economy and illegal immigration, while some Arab-Americans voting in the Democratic primary say they are unhappy with President Biden’s stance on the Israel–Hamas War.

Witness Terrence Bradley returned to the stand to answer questions about what he knows about the relationship between Fani Willis and Nathan Wade. Judge McAfee ordered Mr. Bradley to testify about the relationship after finding that this knowledge was not protected by attorney-client privilege.
