Two American hostages, mother and daughter, have been freed from the clutches of Hamas. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Oct. 20 said he welcomes the release of the hostages and shared in the families’ relief but noted there are many more captives, including children and elderly people. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden is working to secure a $105 billion aid package for Israel and Ukraine.

Before trial began in the Georgia election case, attorney Kenneth Chesebro pleaded guilty. That comes a day after attorney Sidney Powell, another one of former President Donald Trump’s co-defendants, also accepted a plea deal.
