Oxygen was running low as the search continued on June 22 for a submarine with five men on board missing near the wreck of the Titanic. The U.S. Coast Guard said a remotely operated submersible had been deployed for the rescue mission.

EPA official Joseph Goffman testified on June 21 before a House subcommittee on controversial emissions standards for light vehicles. Lawmakers had been growing impatient after Goffman missed a similar hearing in May, resulting in a rocky start to his testimony.

A new report accuses the largest Catholic health system in the nation, CommonSpirit Health, of funding and performing transgender surgeries and abortions. NTD spoke with Lepanto Institute founder Michael Hichborn, who wants it stripped of its status as a Catholic organization.
