Sen. James Risch (R-Idaho) and fellow GOP senators on Thursday introduced a bill that includes resuming construction of the border wall. Risch says patrol agents have encountered nearly five million illegal immigrants at the southern border since President Joe Biden took office.
Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle say the Department of Agriculture needs more oversight during a hearing on March 9. However, officials responsible for the oversight argue it needs more funding.
