Protests continued at Columbia University today. Police received reports of flags being ripped out of Israeli students’ hands, but no reports of physical violence. At a news conference earlier today, Mayor Eric Adams stated that he believes the anti-Israel protests are attracting unrelated parties who are taking advantage of the chaos to incite violence.
A judge has declared a mistrial in the case of an Arizona rancher who fatally shot an illegal immigrant. Litigation might not be over yet, however.
The British parliament has passed a bill aimed at deterring illegal immigration. The legislation would allow the government to deport any illegal immigrant, regardless of origin, to the African nation of Rwanda.
