Glassbrook Elementary School in California’s Bay Area abandoned its “Woke Kindergarten” program on Feb. 12 after experiencing nationwide backlash. The school reportedly spent over $200,000 to implement the program, but test scores subsequently dropped. Third-grade teacher Tiger Craven-Neeley publicly questioned the program, and was placed on leave last week. He tells NTD more about what’s in the controversial program, and why there’s so much pressure to follow it.
The illegal immigration crisis is one of the reasons House Republicans voted to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Feb. 13. The motion was passed 214–213, with three Republicans joining the Democrats, who voted en masse against his impeachment.
An investigation is ongoing into the theft of a 200-foot radio tower in Jasper, Alabama. Local radio station WJLX has been forced off the air for more than a week after the tower disappeared on Feb. 2. NTD’s Jason Blair spoke with the owner of the radio station, who has been severely impacted by the theft.
