A deadly listeria outbreak is causing a nationwide food recall. Products sold at retailers like Costco, Safeway, Von’s, and others have led to 2 deaths and 23 hospitalizations in several states across the country over the past month.

The United States vetoed a United Nations Arab-backed resolution on Feb. 20 calling for a cease-fire in the Israel–Hamas war. The Biden administration stated that such a resolution would interfere with a potential deal to release the many hostages still held by Hamas.

It is getting more expensive for Americans to own and maintain a car. Families in the United States are paying an average of $2,500 annually for car insurance, which is 26 percent more than last year, according to a new report by Bankrate.
